Mission Statement:
Butterfly Transitions and Healing Society (BTAHS) advocates for family
preservation within governmental systems, utilizing holisticism,
harm reductionism and restorative ways of being to create healing,
hope and growth for all
Vision Statement:
Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous: love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecoming: it does not seek it's own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth: bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things....
1 Corinthians 13 4-7
Beliefs:
Butterfly Transitions and Healing Society believe all families can heal and grow in their understanding and love for each other. It is believed if families are supported to have faith, forgive and connect with each other, all situations, and crisis's can be addressed to provide safe and healthy environments. It is believed, in-conjunction with governmental programs already in place for child and family protection, transparent and restorative atmospheres can be created in order to enhance the stability and natural healing processes of families. It is believed, it does not matter what situation a family faces, whether it be substance abuse, criminal activity, child abuse, mental disorders, or the like; families will continue to thrive and search for their connections. It is believed if families are supported to seek understanding, compassion, and forgiveness, protection and psychological concerns will diminish within family systems. It is believed hope and faith will over come all wrongs, assaults, and hurts a family may inflict, or be inflicted. It is believed family preservation is the key to healing, unity, and growth for every individual within the family
